Backend Engineer 12+ years CET hours
I build the platforms other people build products on — application frameworks, schema-driven APIs, the tooling and delivery around them. For the past years that has meant one in-house PHP framework running thirteen client projects, twenty-nine reusable packages around it, a shared API core they are all generated from, and the provisioning that puts them on a server.
I started in full-cycle web and marketing, doing SEO and paid campaigns by hand, which is why the systems I build tend to be analytics platforms rather than plain CRUD. Lately I have been working on agent infrastructure: MCP servers, tool registries, and retrieval pipelines where a model reasons over data but never produces a number of its own.
